Full members have the right to speak and vote in DPA activities. Disabled people are entitled to full membership rights in DPA. All other individuals are associate members.
You can join DPA on-line or you can download a DPA membership form and post it to us. Once you submit your application you will receive an email with our bank account number so you can deposit your subscription.

If you don’t have an impairment you can become an associate member of DPA.
However when a member of your family has an impairment and is under the age of 18 years, the family is entitled full membership.
All other families are associate members. Associate members have the right to speak but are non-voters in DPA activities.

Organisations within DPA take their place alongside disabled members to debate issues.
Organisations of disabled people have full membership rights while organisations for disabled people are associate members.
You can join online (see the blue "organisation user" button to the right of the form on screen) or down load this form to become an organisational member of DPA. Once you submit your application you will receive an email with our bank account number so you can deposit your subscription.

A family can apply for family membership.
When a member of your family has an impairment, and is under the age of 18 years, your family is entitled full membership. All other families are associate members.

The subscription for family membership is equivalent to one waged and one unwaged Individual subscription or alternatively to one and a half time the unwaged Individual subscription rate, to be chosen by the family according to their circumstances.
