The voices of our members
Our members inform our advocacy for disability rights – the more voices, the more effective the advocacy.
By sharing their knowledge, experience and ideas, our members help us build an understanding of what's happening for disabled people in real life, helping us to advocate effectively.

Members’ Hui
Members’ Hui are meetings where we get together – mostly online – to discuss members’ thoughts and experiences, which we use to inform our position on topics relevant to the disability community.
We may also have hui to discuss any changes to our Constitution – the rules we follow as an organisation – to find out what members think. Any changes must then be approved by members in a Special General Meeting or Annual General Meeting.
We will email members directly about any members’ meetings.
Meetings will also be advertised:
- in our weekly Information Exchange newsletter
- on our Facebook page and other social media channels
- on the members hub.
