Disabled Women's Network
The purpose of this network is to connect, share information and campaign on issues that disabled women face within Aotearoa, and to strengthen both our community and skills as disabled women.

Who the Network is for
This network will be made up of disabled women including tāngata whaikaha and whānau hauā Māori, Pasifika, LGBTQIA+/takatāpui, and other intersections who are passionate about the issues affecting disabled women in Aotearoa.
We're in the setting up phase
In late 2024, we received funding from the Clare Foundation to develop a Disabled Women's Network.
From July 2025 onwards, we're looking to set up regular network meetings with the time and frequency to be determined.
These meetings will have NZSL interpreters and transcription. We will also be sending out a regular newsletter update as well.
