Events

The Auckland Arts Festival 2026 programme is out now and features a number of accessible events for D/deaf and disabled people.

Earlier this year, the festival team held a series of community forums with Deaf and disabled communities to understand which shows would best translate into audio described and NZSL performances.

To find out which events are accessible, click on the "Accessibility" tab. Each event, also has information about its accessibility, including audio description, NZSL, hearing loop, wheelchair accessible seating, and relaxed events.

Tickets are $20 for patrons for Access shows and one companion ticket per patron is available free of charge.

Events begin in March. However, as some events have limited capacity, please book early.
