How do we use assistive technology – a survey
Intopia has launched its Assistive Technology Survey 2025, which is designed to capture how Australians and New Zealanders use, access and experience assistive technology.
The aim is build a robust evidence base to help inform policy, product design and accessibility innovation across Australia and New Zealand.
They are seeking responses from anyone in Australia or New Zealand, aged 18 or over, who uses assistive technology or adaptive strategies to make their devices easier to use, including:
- people with disability who use assistive technology in any form, from mobility aids to screen readers
- older people who use technology to support independence or wellbeing
- allied health professionals, educators and support workers involved in assistive technology selection, funding or use.
They want to know what assistive technologies and adaptive strategies people use, which devices and browsers are most popular and what online experience is like for assistive technology users.
Answer the Assistive Technology Survey 2025.
The survey closes Friday 6 February 2026.
