Purpose

The purpose of this submission was to feedback in support of the Hamilton City Council’s proposed accessibility and safety improvements to Peachgrove Road.

Summary of DPA submission

DPA acknowledged the safety and accessibility issues currently plaguing Peachgrove Road. 

DPA supported the HCC’s intentions to resolve these issues through upgrading the road to make it much safer and more accessible for all users, including disabled drivers and pedestrians.  

DPA supported Option 1 on the basis that it will deliver accessibility and safety improvements along the full length of Peachgrove Road, between Wilson and Frances Streets.
